I will make sure the gift is suitable to match in return.
[There is no hesitation in his voice, no second guessing. He is going to return the gift regardless. He sets the basket on the counter and already picks out a piece of bread to start carefully breaking off tiny small pieces of to munch on.]
I am... still getting used to things. So thank you.
Honestly I will be looking to restock my other spell components but I can find those I think. Some information about the area would be useful, if you are familiar and don't mind.
[He will move some books out of a chair that was probably nearly invisible due to. The books and papers. His dismay when he realized these were not Good Papers and were instead Cheap Papers. But he'll still make use of them.]
I apologize, um. I didn't think anyone would come by so I don't have a more comfortable chair.
--Actually, I think I shall stand. It's much better for my back, I've been hunched over a sewing machine all day. Just the thought of sitting again sounds dreadful.
[nailed it]
Either way, as far as Willow goes, I find that I rarely need to leave our community to shop. You can find just about anything between the Elder Mother Station and the Market.
Of course that makes perfect sense. He doesn't second-guess it, just taking it as it is. Rue's very polite and would never be judging or saying what they don't mean.]
What sorts of things can you find at those places?
Their paws clasp in front of them while they stand, pulling their wings in close, just so they don't take up quite as much space.]
Just about everything! I buy or trade for all of my groceries there, they often have all manner of spell components, but also rich fabrics and beautiful dyed thread, shoes and gloves and gardening tools - Truly, there's almost anything you can imagine!
[Judging for lying....................... all clear.]
Then I should like to see it sometime. Probably tomorrow, I think tomorrow would be best. [Is he telling Rue or confirming to himself? Hard to say.] I know there is a library somewhere. Do you know what sorts of books there are around?
Romances mostly, though I've read more historical and children's novels than ever before as of late. My friend and I enjoy sharing books with one another, even if our tastes do not always line up exactly.
It has been good for me, sometimes I get far too taken away in the drama of the romance. So truth be told, I do enjoy the break.
As for my favorite, I quite enjoyed a book he lent me called The Princess Bride. It had a little bit of everything in it! What kinds of genres are your favorite?
[Honestly? Rue loves that he is picking up on what they put down. Not even questioning it, just confirming. Perfect.]
Please, I remember how difficult an adjustment it was for me when I first arrived. I promise, I take no offense. I only want to help where I can. I'm just across the way, alright? If you have any questions, you know where to find me, but otherwise, yes, I will stop by tomorrow with a few more goodies.

Tell me how it has gone thus far. Are there more supplies you need? Or anything for your home?
