[With that, she takes the dress and skips over to the dressing room. Coming out a few minutes later, she does a little spin.]

[Rue gives Mai all of the space and time she needs to twirl in front of the mirror in the fitting room before she comes out, the owlbear tidying up the accessory wall near the register.

But when she does emerge, they turn to her and beam.]

Oh! Look at you, Miss Mai! That almost fits you perfectly, doesn't it? And the color is so perfect! Do you love it?

I do! I haven't felt this cute in a while. It even looks good with my wings.

[Said wings flutter a little, always a bit big for the small girl, dragging on the ground, but at least they are incorporeal enough that they don't drag dirt or bump into things too much.
