[Amity has done her share of exploring Folkmore since arrival, and she was aware that a boutique existed - Rue had told her themself - but somehow she never got the name, and happened to miss it on prior treks through Epiphany. But today is the day! Today is the moment! She steps into the shop and takes in the sight of it quietly with wide eyes. What beautiful clothes...]

[The magical chime at the door sings out Amity's arrival, so Rue, who is only over by the register, rearranging a new collection of summer hats up on the accessory wall, only has to turn their head around to see just who it is.]
Oh, hello again, dear!
[Just gonna sweep over to where Amity is looking so wide-eyed up at everything, the owlbear dropping a paw affectionately against the young woman's shoulder.]
It is so lovely to see you again!
get this girl addicted too, i dont think shes ever had one
[The way that Rue lifts their other paw and gestures around to all of the gorgeous decor probably makes it seem like they are fishing for compliments, but really, they are just delighted that anyone else sees their vision.]
Have you been well, darling? I assume you were reunited with our dear Luz, yes?
An Owl House? My, I should come for a visit sometime, then, shouldn't I? An owlbear visiting the Owl House! How darling.
[such a silly idea!]
Either way, I'm so delighted you were reunited. Now, are you interested in some clothing? I have a few outfits in your size pre-made, but if you'd prefer something designed specifically for you, we can talk that through together.
Well- it doesn't look like an Owl House. It's missing their house demon. But we've always called Eda's house the Owl House, so...
[A-anyway.]
I should be okay with anything pre-made. [Hopefully it suits her style? She's trying not to be picky, here.] I'm saving my lore for something really important, so I don't have a lot to spare for customized goods. But I really need more clothes.
[Maybe it would look more like an owl house with more owl inside of it, hm. consider that.]
I would hate to see you have to choose between clothing that you feel most comfortable in and something deeply important to you. We could make a deal instead, where you could pay for the clothing later on in a few months or so, when you are more able to.
[Rue will just wave her over to a rack of pre-made clothing. Rue's tastes tend to lend more to pinks and purples, but there's a few black pieces among them.]
Please! If anything catches your eye, you simply must try it on.
[Amity pokes through the options, delighting quietly at most of them (they're all very pretty) before settling on a dark shirt and purple pants, and a softer ink and purple sundress. She doesn't want to go too crazy asking for too much. Knowing what's here, though, she is absolutely going to come back with more money and clear out half the rack of her size.]
Can I try these?
[...Actually you know what she's gonna grab a purple-blue flowy-shirt too. It has hers and Luz's colours...]
[Amity vanishes into the change room for a few minutes, switching between the outfit combinations, turning this way and that. Things are quiet for a moment when she switches to the dress.
Then, somewhat shyly, she peers out of the curtain to find Rue.]
...Want to see?
[She can certainly decide for herself if it's good, but... well, a second opinion never hurts!]
[Rue is still nearby while trying to give the girl all of the privacy she needs, the owlbear tidying up a rack of clothing just a few feet away. But then Amity peeks out at them, shyly, and Rue's feathery face goes excited.]
[With that invitation, Amity emerges from the curtain wearing the dress, the soft shades of pink and purple fabric complementing her hair, the shape fitting her very well. She looks pleased, giving a little spin.]
I think it's almost perfect! Fit-wise, I mean. I can't see a single flaw in the design. I don't usually go with such bright colours, but it's really pretty...
Amity, darling, you look beautiful! That color looks so perfect with your hair, and the fit of the dress is you perfectly! Do you quite love it? I could take in the waist, if you like, and fix the sleeves, just so the fit really is perfect. But only if this is the one you really want.
[She turns again, more slowly, feeling at the shoulders.]
Maybe it could come in a little, my shoulders aren't so broad. [And she's a bit too skinny, a young girl still growing and filling out in all directions.] I don't think it'd take much, though. It feels so nice.
Trust me - [And Rue approaches her, delicately reaching down to gently brush the hair from her face with a talon.] You look radiant. And this is your color.
[And more than that, she looks so happy and Rue knows they would do anything to see her looking like that as often as possible.]
Please, you have to take this dress. On me. It's too perfect for you not to!
[The brush of a talon is startling, almost as much as it had been back in the hot springs, but Amity doesn't flinch away. A huge owlbear isn't scary, any more than the demons of the Isles. But such a gentle touch of her hair is still very unusual. It gives her pause, but after a moment, that bright smile returns.]
...I... I will, then!
[She turns one more time, indulgent, loving the way it flutters.]
[And Rue waddles away back towards the register, where they keep all of the accessories hanging to browse through. They pluck up a flower hair pin, in a matching purple, before moving back over to where Amity is admiring her dress.]
[Normally Amity would have very mixed feelings about perfection - particularly in association with her - but hearing it without the smug condescension it usually comes with... well. It hits differently. She catches herself smiling shyly, lifting a hand to touch against the clip as if it might break in her hands. (It does not. It feels stable and soft in her hair.)]
Thank you... I promise I'll pay for everything, as soon as I can!

Ah- hello! I thought this might have been your shop. [The name's kind of a dead giveaway, in fairness.] It's beautiful!

HELLA
Oh- yes! We were able to meet in Wintermute shortly after. I live in the new Owl House now, with her and Eda.
[Or maybe it's not technically an Owl House without Hooty? Amity just sort of assumes that anywhere Eda lives becomes the Owl House.]

Amity looks surprised by the offer, brightening at once, though she is trying so hard to maturely temper her expectations.]
Really, you don't mind? That's asking for a lot.

[If not... she will happily accept this custom deal.]
I like dark colours, mostly purple or black. Anything with stars and moons, too.
